Formwork and falsework are used together to create straight and curved concrete walls, pillars, foundations and so on.
Formwork is the term to describe the temporary supports used as moulds into which concrete is poured, while falsework is the temporary support - such as props - that gives vertical support to the formwork until the concrete sets and the structure can support itself.
